Due to many requests from customers, we have decided to change and standarize our antenna names. Currently it’s possible to identify the antenna looking on the model. Names were created according to the application, frequency, beamwidth, gain and polarization. Omnidirectional antennas have the first section OD, sector SA, panel PA, the second section is the frequency e.g. 56 (which means 5,45-5,725 GHz), then in case of sector antennas there is beamwidth (in case of omni antennas it’s not necessary to write 360). The next section describes the gain of the antenna, on the end of the antenna there is the polarization of the antenna (in case of panels, yagis and grids, we don’t write the polarization, because they can work in both polarizations, depending on the antenna position.)
As an example please look on the GigaSector 120/16 5 GHz sector antenna, polarization vertical. Currently it’s (according to the rules above):
SA 56-120-16V, sector antenna, frequency 5,45-5,725 GHz, beamwidth 120 degrees, gain 16 dBi, vertical polarization.
We are sorry for making those changes, but it will make the life easy for you as our customers.
