Introduction

The times, when devices working in the 5GHz band were available only in the price of a few thousand zlotys, passed fortunately. Once only few could afford themselves to expensive buy, but functional indeed devices of type Tsunami MP.11a. At present, the Tsunami has became cheaper and additionally, many producers have offered their products on the market, with possibility of working in the more and more popular 5GHz frequency. We can already become the owner of the set working in this „magic" band just for the amount of a few hundred zlotys. There is only one question: Do cheaper devices work well, and if so, what way?

In this report three products are presented: CA8-4, Compex WPE54AG and Tonze AW-6660. The object of this presentation is careful comparison of devices performance, presenting their greatest qualities and faults, and also my objective feelings concerning functionality.
