The MikroTik system installation on the PC platform

On a computer with the Netinstall program installed, set static IP address (in our case: 192.168.0.100/24) and by using of Ethernet cable join it with PC computer, where we are going to install the MikroTik system. Launch the Netinstall and press 'Net booting' button:

At appeared window mark 'Boot Server enabled' option and write this IP address down, which were assigned to computer -where we will be MT installing during the starting-up process. The IP address has to be the same address class as addess of computer, which from we carry out the configuration. In our case it is: 192.168.0.101:

Start the computer where the MikroTik system would be installed. In BIOS set option up of starting from ethernet network ( First Boot Device -> LAN). After finish of start- process, the Netinstall will come out remote computer by showing the MAC address of its network card:

Mark appropriate drive (disc drive, Disk On Module card or CF placed in CF<>IDE adapter), establish access path to directory where are placed files all_packages (dowloaded and extracted), [also available in PC and RB versions at producent side], and then select options for yourself and click „Install” button.

Destination drive will be formated and the MikroTik system will be installed with chosen packages and then the computer will be restarted. The last thing to do is change device, which from the program will be booted to drive or CF card with the MikroTik system installed and finally, the program is ready to run :)
